About Kit Manufacturing

The company was formed in 2000 and started with manufacturing foam inserts (also known as wadding) for pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract packers. During 2004 other businesses were incorporated into Keep It Together Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd, which then introduced silica gel and desiccants, thereby increasing our packaging market share dramatically.

A range of tapes and fasteners were also integrated into the business and we now supply the automotive industry and hardwares. Today Plate Tape is a recognized brand with the automotive industry.

In 2006, the Tula Baby range was introduced. This division started due to a high demand for baby mattresses and baby pillows. This department has since expanded to include the ‘Pastel Range', which consists of essential baby products, as well as, our ‘Brights Range’, which consists of soft toys and our ‘Play and Learn’ range.

2010 saw us expand into the events management business by incorporating KIT Events. KIT Events specializes in unique décor for all functions and will manage your function ‘from start-to-finish’.

We continue to expand our range of products across our business and our goal is to be a preferred supplier to all our current and new customers.

We have built strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers through maintaining high quality and excellent service levels. We are proud to have ‘one-on-one’ relations with the buyers and managers, as we do regular visits nationwide to their offices. This gives us a chance to meet in person and discuss orders and how we could possibly assist in the future.
